FlowFetch Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of FlowFetch, an Android app from Lumarc Studio.
This page is general information and may need legal review before large-scale commercial launch.
Acceptance
By downloading, installing or using FlowFetch, you agree to these Terms of Use, the FlowFetch Privacy Policy and the FlowFetch Responsible Use & Copyright page.
What FlowFetch is
FlowFetch is a general-purpose Android download manager for direct files, torrent files and magnet links, with file selection, transfer management and a local Status Saver tool. FlowFetch is a neutral transfer utility and does not host, curate, recommend or distribute third-party content.
Lawful and authorized use
You may use FlowFetch only to download, save, share or transfer content you own, have permission to access, are licensed to use, or may otherwise lawfully download. You are solely responsible for verifying that your use of FlowFetch complies with applicable copyright law, licensing terms, third-party terms of service and local law.
Prohibited misuse
You agree not to use FlowFetch to:
- Download, distribute or share content you do not have the right or permission to access.
- Attempt to bypass DRM, authentication, paywalls, geo-restrictions or other platform protections.
- Interfere with the operation of FlowFetch, other users, or third-party networks and services.
- Violate applicable law.
No DRM or security bypass
FlowFetch does not bypass DRM, authentication, paywalls, geo-restrictions or platform protections of any kind, and no part of these terms should be read as granting or implying such capability.
Third-party content and services
Files, torrents, magnet links and status media you access through FlowFetch originate from third-party sources, peers or your own device storage. Lumarc Studio does not control, endorse or take responsibility for third-party content accessed using FlowFetch.
Peer-to-peer networking
Torrent and magnet functionality uses the BitTorrent peer-to-peer protocol, which connects your device directly to other network participants to complete a transfer. See the Privacy Policy for how this works.
Availability and reliability
FlowFetch is provided on an "as available" basis. Background transfer behaviour depends on your device's Android version, battery optimization settings and network conditions, and Lumarc Studio does not guarantee that every transfer will complete or that background execution will continue indefinitely.
Warranties and disclaimers
FlowFetch is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Lumarc Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of FlowFetch, including damages related to third-party content accessed through the app.
Termination
You may stop using FlowFetch at any time by uninstalling the app. Lumarc Studio may modify, restrict or discontinue FlowFetch or these terms with reasonable notice where required by law.
Changes
These terms may be updated as FlowFetch changes. Continued use of FlowFetch after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
